Similar in spirit to Flame, this work in polished stainless steel signifies transience and the whirlwinds of life. As the ribbons of burnished steel envelop each other in a spiralling crescendo, a sense of movement is more clearly defined and engages the viewer. Like many of Andrew’s sculptures, this work throws the most beguiling and spectacular shadows as the sun shifts in its daily course.
